HOW DO I USE IT?

Maker's Magic does pretty much everything except pay your taxes! You can use it in SO many ways:

You can use whatever you like to apply it! We prefer brushes.


It dries in 1 hour and cures in 48 hours.


It's water based, thinnable and cleans up easy with soap and water.

WHAT'S IN MAKER'S MAGIC?

Sorry, a magician doesn't reveal his tricks! Our Maker's Magic recipe is top secret! It's kinda like Coca-Cola. We spent a long time perfecting it and we are constantly trying make it even better.


We'll tell you this much though: the ingredient list is so simple and clean that we don't even have to wear masks when we make it.


Water is one of the main ingredients which makes us happy.


While we can't tell you the "Secret" we can tell you that ingredients like these have never been seen in the craft industry before now.

IS IT SAFE FOR FOOD SURFACES? WILL IT HURT ME?

The ingredient list has been proven to be CFR21 compliant for food contact.


However... just because you can, doesn't mean you should! We do not recommend ingesting or using Maker's Magic on or around food surfaces. There are better options like our finishing oil.


The reason we talk about this is because a lot of people like to decoupage and seal tumblers, drink ware and glasses that are used in the kitchen.

CAN I USE THIS TO SEAL MY PROJECTS?

100% yes. It's ideal for sealing projects. Our formula was specially made to lay flat without bubbles, brushstrokes, bumps and cloudiness.


Maker's Magic dries flexible and lasts. It can seal, protect, and pop your projects so they last longer, look better and stand the test of time.

IS IT MADE IN THE USA?

Yes it is. Scorch Marker is an American family-owned business. Evan developed the Scorch Marker in his own wood shop in California. Maker's Magic is made in our facility in California. We truly believe in creating jobs and contributing to our country - therefore - all of our Scorch Markers, Maker's Magic, Finishes and Wood products are made right here in the USA.

DOES IT HAVE A GUARANTEE?

WILL IT MAKE THINGS WATER PROOF?

Yes it will. Once Maker's Magic dries, its cures into a flexible and durable shell.


You might think, "well, it's water based, so doesn't water dissolve it?" Nope! Once it cures, it's completely waterproof!

DOES IT SMELL STRONG?

A lot of people complain about stinky glues and sealers. We hear you.


Maker's Magic is much milder that your traditional all purpose glues and sealers.


How do we know? We've done smell tests and Maker's Magic wins every time. Plus we've been working with it without holding our breath, so that's also a good sign!

SHOULD I WEAR GLOVES?

Yes you should. We always recommend wearing gloves. It makes cleanup easier, it's safer and it's a good habit!


Maker's Magic is sticky and dries quickly. We would rather you throw away a pair of gloves than have to scrub with soap and water in the sink :)
