Wood Conversation Heart Supplies:
- Wood Hearts (Dollar Tree sell these)
- Paint (You want at least 3 colors + white)
- Letter Stickers (Walmart sells them for $0.96)
- Maker's Magic (to seal the project and make the stickers stay on and paint not chip)
Step 1: Paint Your Hearts
You'll want to paint all your wood hearts white first. This allow the actual color you're applying to pop! You can do two coats of white paint to ensure full coverage.
Step 2: Create Your Colors and Paint Your Hearts
The typical conversation hearts are more pastel colors and if you don't have those colors you can create your own by adding white to your existing color and mixing.
Step 3: Apply Letters
Arrange your letters into any words you prefer and apply pressure on them.
Step 4: Apply Maker's Magic
Maker's Magic acts as a sealant as well as adding an amazing gloss finish to your project!
Once you've allowed the Maker's Magic to dry for 24-48 hours you can use your new home decor anyway you'd like! We used ours on top of a larger wood slice with a candle to create this adorable table centerpiece!
