The Scorch Marker works surprisingly well on dried gourd, and can be used to customize these pieces in any way you’d like.

Believe it or not, the Scorch Marker works on fabric, too!

We were surprised at how well this one turned out, but one thing is for sure: the Scorch Marker successfully burns denim.

3. Cork

Another great idea for adding a little texture to your pyrography crafts is cork.

Not only is this material incredibly easy to work with, but the Scorch Marker also burns it like a charm.

Cardboard is one material we all have an abundance of, and it can be combined with the Scorch Marker to create some pretty cool crafts.

All you have to do is simply draw on the cardboard surface, heat it with your heat gun, and watch your design come to life.

This surface is definitely one of the easiest, and cheapest to work with, making it wonderful for experiments and practice.
